Where are classes held?
Training classes are held at the Automotive Training Academy, located in The Woodlands, Texas. [click here for directions/map] Occasionally, courses are held at community colleges, in the conference centers of nationally recognized hotels, or at a dealer association's training facility. To verify the location of your course, please check the training flier, this website, or contact your local American Financial Dealership Development Manager.
How do I pay tuition?
Tuition can be paid by credit card through online registration or via a cashier/company check. Checks are to be made payable to:

Is the hotel included in the price of tuition?
No, tuition does not include your lodging arrangements. However, for F&I classes held at the Automotive Training Academy in Houston, we receive a corporate discounted rate at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. A credit card will be mandatory to guarantee your room.
Where do I get my registration packet after registering?
The individual with the account you were registered under will receive an email with instructions to print a registration packet. If you have registered for one of our F&I courses and have not yet received a registration packet, you can print one by clicking here.
Who makes the reservations for my flight and hotel?
Your dealership is responsible for your flight and hotel arrangements, if required. Special rates are available for classes held at the Automotive Training Academy with the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. [click here to make your Marriott reservation]
When should I receive my confirmation?
Your class confirmation will be emailed to you immediately following your online registration. In the confirmation, you will find directions to the facility. [click here for directions/map]
What should I wear?
Attire is business professional for both men and women.
What should I do if an emergency arises and I am not able to attend class?
Please call the Automotive Training Academy at (800) 967-3633 no less than 3 business days prior to class - cancellation fees apply. If utilizing the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel, it is your responsibility to cancel your hotel reservation no less than 3 business days prior to class. Failure to do so will result in cancellation charges equivalent to a five-night stay.
